Cockspur Coral Tree
Originating from Brazil, the eye-catching Cockspur Coral Tree will certainly make a statement with its spectacular large coral pea like flowers during the warmer months. A broadly spreading tree as it ages, it is also often pollarded to reduce its size and provide a striking bare framework of thick short branches in winter. Can be invasive in warmer areas.
Full sun, adaptable to a range of soils, tolerating both wet or dry conditions. Readily self seeds, should not be planted near bushland or wetlands.
