Clivia 'Orange'
A must have shade plant, Clivia miniata 'Orange' is a superb choice for those difficult shady positions down the side of the house or under trees. Coping well with root competition and dryness, this resilient and low maintenance clivia will light up a dark corner with its free-flowing large orange flowers, beautifully offset by its luxurious dark green strap-leaf foliage. Thriving on neglect, clivias readily naturalise in favourable conditions, creating a stunning understorey to an overhead canopy or a shady corner of the garden.
How to grow
Full or part shade, adaptable to a range of soil conditions and climates. Copes with root competition, low light and dry conditions once established. Protect from snails and slugs. Mulch with well-rotted manure in spring.
