Brassica oleraceaA southern Italian heirloom with striking lime-green heads and a delicious earthy pea taste. An early variety with excellent cold tolerance. Steam lightly to maintain colour when cooking or enjoy raw in salads! Yields small reliable 1.4kg heads.

Cauliflower 'Green Macerata'
Cauliflowers have similar needs to other brassicas, but are more demanding to grow. They insist on a pH of 6.5, plus they are also prone to clubroot, which makes the plant wither and turn yellow. Add lime to well manured soil and maintain moist growing conditions for the best results.
