Bearded Iris ‘Midnight Blue’ (3 Rhizomes)
Thriving in dry climate gardens, the strappy foliage is a useful accent all year while the flower heads create a seasonal display in mid-spring. Plant the rhizomes in a well prepared, free-draining soil with the top third at soil level so that they receive warm sunlight. Water regularly until established. Iris generally dislike strong winds and frosts, but are more tolerant once established. Divide as necessary to revitalise flowering and to maintain clump size. Divide after flowering in late summer or early autumn.
