Anthemis 'E.C. Buxton'
A standout drought-tolerant ground cover with abundant pale yellow daisies over finely dissected blue-green foliage mounds. With the endorsement of Beth Chatto who describes it as one of the 10 best plants in her renowned gravel garden, it is a low maintenance, resilient performer, remaining evergreen in warm climates. This versatile perennial flowers profusely from November to February and suits a hot dry position as an edging plant or in a front of border position in cottage, mediterranean or coastal garden schemes.
Plant in full sun, extremely drought tolerant and suitable in a range of soils, but must be well-drained. Thrives in hot, dry positions and performs best in impoverished soil, tends to sprawl in fertile or over watered conditions. Regularly deadhead to prolong flowering from summer to autumn. Evergreen in warm climates, cut back to a low mound in early spring to maintain compact habit.
