Animal Away
Yes, this chemical free deterrent has been known to keep pesky possums away, and even the odd fox or two. Mounted to a post, building or tree, when an animal wanders into the sensing zone, it emits a high frequency siren which frightens the animal away. No chemicals or nets are needed to protect crops with this clever device, and with the dual 9V battery operation, Animal Away can be mounted anywhere, from walls, posts and trees, to roof spaces, under houses, etc. Designed to be effective up to 85 square meters, the LED flashing light strobe acts a visual deterrent, while the ultrasonic noise frightens animals away. Unfortunately, does not work on snails. As this is a motion sensor, it is not suitable for use in areas with pets that may trigger the sensor including cats and dogs.
