Agastache ‘Sweet Lili’
A beloved agastache for its long flowering season (early summer to winter) and stellar performance through summer’s dry conditions. The lofty spires sway in even the gentlest of breezes, bringing movement to the garden. The top third of the plant holds delicate tubular flowers of amethyst and apricot. Valuable to attract bees and pollinators and as a resilient summer flower. Its fragrant anise-scented edible foliage can be used in salads and tea, and enjoyed in a scented cut flower arrangement.
Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Dry-tolerant once established, though will benefit from supplementary watering during extended dry periods. Regularly deadhead to prolong flowering and prune back to a low mound in early spring.
