Teucrium 'Purple Tails'
Lovely, clump forming perennial with large, textured green foliage and tall spires of deep purple-fuchsia coloured flower tails in summer. This native to the Caucasus Mountains and Iran grows well in a variety of conditions and is highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects. Commonly called the Caucasian or Caucasus Germander, Iranian Wood Sage and Iranian Germander.
How to grow
The aromatic sage-like green textured foliage can be pruned for an attractive and unique hedge. The blooms attract bees and butterflies and are great as cut flowers. Frost and dry hardy.
