Poppy 'Beauty Of Livermere'
This Oriental poppy produces brilliant scarlet flowers, opening up to a huge 15cm wide. Satin petals, each marked with a black stroke, surround the sumptuous feathered centre. Flowering is followed by architectural seed pods which are popular for floral arrangements. Best in cooler climates.
Oriental poppies are best suited to cooler climates with regular moisture during dry spells. Plants may die down over summer but will re-emerge in autumn. Plant in full sun in cold areas and part shade in hotter climates.
