Penstemon 'Hidcote Pink'

This floriferous, clump forming perennial is an extremely rewarding and useful addition to any planting scheme, offering its beautiful delicate tubular flowers of soft pink with purple striped throats on strong upright stems from summer right through into winter in milder climates. An excellent award winning garden plant, Penstemon 'Hidcote Pink' is easy to grow and attractive for most of the year. It's free flowing flower panicles are a wonderful food source, loved by native birds and other pollinators. Penstemons are quintessential cottage garden and perennial border plants that offer huge impact for little effort in any garden setting.
How to grow

Full sun, though will tolerate light shade. Well-drained soil, frost and drought tolerant, though benefits from deep watering during extended dry periods. Dead-head regularly to promote repeat flowering, cut back to a low mound in winter when flowering ends.
