Hops 'Chinook'
An ornamental climber and must-have for the home brewer, Hops 'Chinook' is a moderate growing perennial climber that provides welcome summer shade, then dies back to the ground in the winter to let in the sun. Chinook hops are a dual-purpose hop commonly used in IPA's and have a heavy spice and pine aroma with subtle notes of grapefruit.
How to grow
A fast-growing climber, grow up a trellis or frame. Flowers best after a winter chill. Prune to the ground in winter.
