Himalayan Primrose

A distinctive alpine plant native to the Himalayas, and discovered by British botanist Frank Kingdon-Ward in 1913, this shade lover is grown for its compact rosette of leaves and stunning blue-violet flowers.

How to grow

Deadhead after flowering. Always wear gloves when dealing with primulas as some people are sensitive to the fine hairs on the foliage and flowerstems. Water more regularly in full sun.
