Strawberry Guava

Often grown as an edible hedge, the dense evergreen foliage and compact habit provides privacy, protection from the wind and autumn fruits. Whilst considered invasive in Hawaii, this valuable ornamental edible poses no current risk in Australia.
How to grow

Grow in full sun in an enriched, well-drained soil. Water during establishment. Drought and frost hardy once established. Prune to maintain a compact dense habit if hedging. Harvest fruit as required and use with a few days for maximum flavour and freshness.
