Used primarily for cultivation, our gardeners use this as an extension of their arm. Made from FSC hardwood and stainless steel. 10 year warranty*. Size: 33cm x 13cm. Julie, our gardener at Heronswood says, "This steel hand hoe is my favorite tool, it's perfectly weighted for ease of use with a sharp stainless steel blade and smooth, solid hardwood handle. It's brilliant for cutting through annual weeds or digging perennial ones out by their roots. I also use it for planting as it slices through the soil to create the planting hole and the broad, flat blade can be used to firm the soil after backfilling. I find that once I pick mine up in the morning, I rarely put it down, it's almost become an extension of my arm and now I can't imagine gardening without it. I highly recommend this brilliant tool."
