Plectranthus Argentatus

Plectranthus argentatus

A spreading Australian native evergreen shrub with velvety broad silver leaves. A useful heat and dry tolerant ground cover or understory plant for shade or sun, thriving beneath trees in tough, competitive conditions. Spikes of white flowers on mauve stems rise above the foliage in autumn. An ideal plant for sprawling over challenging bare patches to outcompete weeds and as a silver highlight to dull, forgotten areas. One of the few silver-leafed plants that will grow in shade.
