Kale 'Tuscan Cavolo Nero'

The kale that launched this superfood! A culinary champion in the kitchen and lauded by seasonal chefs. Also known as Tuscan Black, it grows like a mini palm tree with elephant-grey leaves that can be picked continually from 8 weeks. Perfect for light braising in butter and verjuice.
How to grow

Plant in a fertile, moist soil. Kale grows best during the cooler months, there are also fewer white cabbage butterflies around at that time, which lay their eggs on brassicas, when the caterpillars hatch they devour the leaves.
