Echinops 'Arctic Glow'
Echinops ‘Arctic Glow’ makes a striking feature with its whitish-blue spherical flowerheads on tall sturdy stems that form a unique silhouette against the sky and other perennials. Rough deeply dissected foliage with distinctive silvery undersides, combined with the globe-shaped blooms of densely packed white starry flowers, provide outstanding contrast and interest in mixed plantings or cut flower arrangements.
How to grow
Full sun, thrives in moist well-drained soil, but tolerant of a range of conditions once established. Deadhead regularly for repeat blooms. Suitable for drying, cut before flowers open and hang upside down. Cut back damaged flower stems and foliage in spring before new growth appears.
