In addition to its aesthetic qualities, agastache has long been cultivated in Asia where the fragrant anise leaves are used for culinary purposes and infused in tea for use as a health tonic. Attractive to bees in both colour and substantial flowering period. Sow in autumn and over winter for flowers in spring. Spring sowings will take 12 months to flower.
