AUSTRALIAN HEIRLOOM, 1924: When most roses are dormant during winter, this true phenomenon of the rose world is in full flower filling gardens with its wonderful sweet scent and colourful pinkish-apricot double blooms. Almost perpetually in flower, it’s superb as a shrub, hedge or rambling climber. Bred by renowned Australian rose breeder, Alister Clark, who wanted to produce a rose that could cope with our extreme weather conditions. He described ‘Lorraine Lee’ as better than any of his later hybrids for its colour and habit. BAREROOT ROSES WILL BE DESPATCHED FROM MID-JULY.
