Plant one as a dazzling specimen tree or plant en masse to create a dramatic formal avenue or windbreak. It produces dense shade from the widely-domed canopy. Often multi-trunked but easily trained to a central trunk when young. Deciduous or semi-evergreen in cool climates. Slow growth rate.

How to grow
