Gooseberry 'Captivator'
Gooseberries love the cold and do best in areas with frost and long cold winters. Plant in a soil enriched with aged manure and compost and water regularly during the growing season. Prune in winter to around 3-4 shoots in the first year, and 6-8 shoots in subsequent years.
