Hylotelephium sieboldiiA brilliant ground cover for the rock garden or dry border, with attractive silver-blue scalloped foliage edged in pink. It forms a carpet of colour, bearing clusters of star-shaped bright pink flowers in clusters on the end of branches in late summer. Suitable for planting in hanging baskets or on a green (energy-smart) roof.

Sedum Sieboldii
Also known as October Daphne, this semi-deciduous succulent originated in Japan and was named after German researcher Franz Philippe von Siebold, who studied Japanese botany in the 1800s. The scalloped foliage is edged in pink and becomes more vibrant as the seasons move from summer into autumn.
How to grow
Suitable for dry gardens, this drought tolerant succulent thrives in a free-draining soil and is intolerant of water-logging. Prune after flowering in winter. Semi-evergreen to evergreen in warm climates.
