Soft when ripe, these wild treats are never found in supermarkets. Grow your own to discover them for yourself!
Alpine strawberries are easy to grow and do not spread by runners. Fertilise with compost and blood and bone each year. Makes a wonderful, fruiting ground cover. Plant in a mound to improve drainage and water regularly, especially during the growing and fruiting months. Prefers part shade or protection from the hot afternoon sun.
