Cool Soil Vegetables

The most cold-tolerant plants, capable of germinating in the coldest soils are mainly frost-tolerant, hardy annuals and biennials that thrive in fluctuating temperatures.  This is traditionally autumn and winter in southern areas.  Some can be grown during The Dry in northern gardens, depending on the humidity in your area.
