Thornless Loganberry

Rubus loganobaccus

Discovered by American horticulturalist Judge James Logan in 1881 after an accidental cross of a blackberry and raspberry, it then developed into a thornless version. Pure delight, with prolific fruiting and growth, the fruit lacks the astringent properties of its parents. Harvest the berries daily and prune as required to contain spread.

How to grow

FLORICANE - These berries fruit on second year wood. Prune after fruiting, but only remove the canes that have already produced fruit.
