A home-grown star. The White Correa is a very useful and versatile shrub that can take a beating and still look perfect. A coastal native, it thrives by the sea where salt-laden winds are no problem. Dainty white starry flowers sit neatly on dusty grey-green leaves. One of the few natives that works well with exotics in the garden as it has a compact habit that lends itself to trimming, in fact makes a terrific, low maintenance informal hedge.
Clip regularly to keep compact. Can be hedged or clipped into neat mounds, or allowed to grow to full height as an handsome bird-attractive shrub.
