Tree Euphorbia
With a clear trunk and tufts of foliage domed at the top, this tree-like Euphorbia could well have been designed by Dr. Seuss! Its perfectly symmetrical rosettes of blue-green pointed leaves on stiff branch-like, upward stems are crowned in spring with acid green flowers. A unique accent plant for the back of the border, Mediterranean or succulent themed garden.
Plant in full sun, preferably in free-draining soil of moderate to low fertility but adaptable to a wide range of conditions. Extremely drought and heat tolerant, Euphorbias cope with coastal conditions and moderate frost. Protect from frost when young. Occasional water over extended dry periods will improve plant performance. Prune off spent flower stalks but no other pruning required. Resents any root disturbance or relocation. Always wear gloves and avoid the sap when cutting or handling to prevent irritation to the skin and eyes. Readily self-seeds.
