Sweet Potato 'Northern Star'
A reddish-purple skinned sweet potato with nutty tasting white flesh, which tastes more like baked chestnuts than the traditional orange sweet potato flavour. A dry style tuber, best suited to baking or frying. Tubers store for only 2–3 months.
Train up a tee-pee or trellis to maximise harvest. Plant a month after the last spring frost in to well drained soil enriched with fertiliser and organic matter. Harvest in 4-6 months.
