Smyrnium Perfoliatum
Fresh seed is available for this rare biennial collected from the Diggers Club St Erth Garden. Bright lime green sprays of flowers stand from a single 30cm stem. Not for beginners gardeners, the seed will usually form a bulbil in the soil in the first year and sprout and flower in the second year. Over time this species will naturalise in a garden. Tolerant of partial shade perfect for under planting.
