Kniphofia 'Lime Glow'
Lime green buds mature to golden torches on darkened flower stems. One of the best poker varieties, with flowers produced throughout summer and autumn, above neat clumps of strap like foliage. Nectar laden tubular flowers are adored by birds and butterflies. Plant amongst soft perennials for heightened contrast of this vertical flower.
How to grow
Grow in well-drained soil in full sun. After flowering remove the faded flower spikes and apply a mulch around the crown. Divide and replant large clumps in spring.
