Hellebore 'Red Velvet'
This strikingly beautiful hellebore produces pure white flowers with large, solid blotches of deep burgundy on the petals. The stunning combination of colours creates a dramatic display and stands out in the winter garden.
Hellebores are resilient garden plants and are best grown in the ground. Plant in part shade and water regularly during dry periods and establishment. Remove old foliage when new growth appears in autumn. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or quality compost at this time too. Watch for aphids and spray if necessary. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage increased flowering.
