Finger Lime Microcitrus Australasica
Our own native citrus, the Australian Finger lime produces slender 15cm long cylindrical fruits, filled with exquisite tangy pulp. When opened, this colourful pulp is revealed as hundreds of individual vesicles that retain their unique form until consumed. Like citrus caviar, our native Fingerlime is highly sought after worldwide by both chefs and gardeners alike. Grown from cuttings so best suited to growing in pots to avoid soil-borne disease.
This citrus is gown on its own roots so can be susceptible to Phytopthera root rot when planted in open soil. Best grown in a pot to avoid this risk.
