Epimedium 'Silver Queen'

Epimedium grandiflorum 'Silver Queen'

Glistening white sprays of dainty flowers blushed with lavender emerge from mahogany-cinnamon colour leaves in early spring. ‘Silver Queen’ is an early bloomer and the silvery shimmering flowers are striking against the deep shades of the new foliage.

Epimedium 'Silver Queen'

This enchanting clump-forming perennial can be used as a ground cover or edger in shady areas or under trees. Epimediums are commonly called bishop's hat or barrenwort and are valued for both their flowers and foliage. The dainty, spring flowers bring wonder to shady spots in the garden and the mounds of heart shaped leaves form an excellent ground cover.
How to grow

Keep your Epimedium happy with a regular mulch of garden compost. Cut back old foliage in late winter or early spring. Tolerates drought once established.
