Common Myrtle
Common Myrtle is an evergreen, large shrub or small tree with small, aromatic glossy leaves and makes an ideal hedging plant. White, fragrant starry flowers appear from mid spring to early summer and are followed by purplish black berries.
Prefers a sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil. Water after planting until established. Prune to maintain desired shape.
