Agastache 'Salmon And Pink'
A popular group of summer flowering perennials in our gardens, Agastaches are members of the Lamiaceae (Mint) family, so are attractive to birds, bees and other beneficial insects. Ideal in perennial borders, cottage and seaside gardens, this shorter form features pink fluted flowers that age to orange creating a pleasing bi-coloured effect of both salmon and pink that begins in spring and carries on through summer and into autumn. Also known as Hyssop, this variety features silvery foliage with a minty aroma.
Plant in full sun in a free-draining soil. Dry-tolerant once established, agastaches will benefit from supplementary watering during extended dry periods. Regularly deadhead to prolong flowering. Prune back to a low mound in early spring.
