Beekeeping for Beginners - Part 1: Bee Basics

Saturday 14th April at 11.00am

In this fascinating Workshop, 'Dan the Bee Man' will share his vast experience and knowledge with you about the many benefits bees provide to both our backyards and the general environment as a whole.

He'll discuss how important they are for pollinating our food crops, challenges to their survival, and what plants will actively attract and encourage them into your garden.

Honey will be available to sample on the day!

A 'must-do' Workshop for anyone that loves to grow and understand their own fruit and vegetables, or who are thinking of having a beehive of their own at home.

Presented by Dan the Bee Man.  Dan the Bee Man has turned his hobby of beekeeping into an educational business to share the joy of beekeeping and fresh honey to people all over Australia, whilst also promoting the idea of suburban beekeeping and bringing necessary bees back into the city.

Part 2 - Extracting your honey, is at 2pm the same day. Bookings are taken separately.
