Plan & Plant your best ever Winter Vegie Patch

Saturday 10th March at 11.00am

With some forethought and planning, and a few handy tips and tricks, it really is possible to have fresh and healthy vegetables from your garden, across 12 months of the year, regardless of your climate.

Learn how to avoid crop voids and gluts, and have a steady and reliable supply of home harvested food through successive planting, crop rotation, using cold frames and hot houses, and making the most of your local climate, even in winter!

Presented by Julian Blackhirst.  Julian is an experienced market gardener and the head gardener at The Garden of St Erth, where he is curator of the espalier orchard, the food forest, the bulb meadows and much more.
