Glorious Garlic!

Saturday 3rd March at 11.00am

Easy to grow, delicious to eat, beautiful to look at, and prolific at harvest time. Forget that bleached and fumigated garlic you find at the supermarket, and learn all the top tricks on how to best grow your own at home.

In this workshop you'll learn about garlic varieties, how to ideally plant, and how to get the best out of your garlic crops, including successful harvesting, and then storage tips to enjoy your home grown garlic all throughout the year!

Presented by Penny Woodward. With degrees in Botany and Zoology, Penny is an 8 times published Australian garden writer, Horticultural Editor for Organic Gardener Magazine, radio talk back panellist for 3CR, and who lives her passion of  ‘all things garden’  through continual experimentation with the growing of useful and edible plants.
