Simple Cider Making at Home

Celebrate the apple season harvest by joining us at Cloudehill, and learn to become a cider connoisseur!
‘Pete the Permi’, with his extensive experience with heritage fruit trees, will discuss the best cider making fruit varieties and rootstocks, and how to grow and maintain your own heritage fruit trees at home.
You'll learn about the basic and inexpensive equipment you need, and how to lay out your own domestic Cidery, so you can then create your very own home-grown cider to enjoy with your family and friends.
Presented by Peter Allen. Known fondly as 'Pete the Permie' of Telopea Mountain Nursery in Monbulk, Pete has been involved with Permaculture on a full time bases since 2002, and now shares his immense knowledge via his many offered courses and teachings in Permaculture design, animal husbandry, organic growing, heritage fruit, and cider making.
