Position Available: Head Gardener at Heronswood

A horticulturally qualified and advanced gardener is required to manage the iconic Heronswood Garden.

•Required to manage, motivate and train 4-5 garden staff plus manage financial budgets.

• Extensive experience in growing summer perennials, subtropical fruits and vegetables and a kitchen garden supply.

• Skills in machinery, irrigation, organic soil improvement and plant nutrition.

• Required to create designs for off-site plantings, provide gardening advice to our members and give workshops.

• A plants person, educator and manager with at least 15 years gardening experience.
