Bergenia Winterglut

Bergenias are one of the most under rated garden plants. The large green leaves make it an ideal ground cover for full sun or semi shade, and they thrive in poor soils. 'Winterglut' provides a welcome change from the common pink form with warm red flowers standing tall above almost black stems in spring. The foliage changes colour in autumn and winter bringing colour to your garden for three out of the four seasons.
