We have pioneered the adaptation of the U.S.D.A.'s cold hardiness zones and heat zones, with data from the Bureau of Meteorology. Diggers' rescued this classic heirloom, which is the oldest, stringless, climbing bean from 1802, by sowing just one precious bean. Listed in Burpee's 1888 catalogue. Its seemingly discourteous name is derived from its immense productiveness
