Helping you choose
the right plants
Check in which zone your garden is located and only
choose plants that suit your zone.
Plants usually fail for 3 reasons:
1) Winters too cold - Check Cold Zone
2) Summers too hot - Check Heat Zone
3) Soil too dry or too wet - check our drip system
.
Cold Tolerance
Cold Zone (CZ) is the minimum temperature a plant will survive.
Heat Tolerance
Heat Zone (HZ) is the number of days over 30°C that a plant will survive.
For Example:
Clivia is a plant listed as Cold Zone 10-12, which means it won't take heavy frost and thrives between -1°C and +10°C winter temperatures. Clivia is listed as heatzone 4-10, which means it thrives in areas between 30-180 days over 30°C.
